Rehabilitation Agency Services - Eligibility Determination Guidelines
Resource Partnership guidelines for the intake/referral process: The following is a set of guidelines utilized during the application and intake process to assess the eligibility of the referred candidate for placement services with the Resource Partnership.
Stable Living Environment:
- The applicant must have an address and phone where he/she can be reached on a consistent basis. E-mail is also preferred, if possible.
- Disability should be stabilized.
Vocational Objective:
- Applicant must have a job/career goal and marketable skills that can be utilized in a specific career/vocational area.
- Applicant must have realistic work expectations compatible with their job goal and with the current job market.
- Applicant must be invested in getting a job now, and be willing to commit to and actively engage in all aspects of the job search process, which will be clearly defined by the assigned Resource Partnership Staffing Specialist.
Interview/Referral Process:
- Applicant will maintain appropriate grooming/hygiene and attire for all interviews and appointments with Resource Partnership staff.
- Applicant will go on all job interviews previously discussed with and arranged by Resource Partnership staff.
- Applicant will inform staff and/or employer of any need or reason to cancel or re-schedule a prearranged interview.
- Applicant will inform prospective employers of any necessary reasonable job accommodations at the appropriate time during the job search process.
Transportation:
- Applicant will clearly state all potential means of transportation and geographic areas he/she is able to work.
If an applicant cancels appointments, does not show for prearranged interviews and/or fails to meet any of the above-mentioned guidelines at any point in the intake or job search process, he/she will be reviewed for job preparedness and may be deemed inappropriate for services from the Resource Partnership.
